1. This week at SHS:

b. Tuesday, 2/9/10 – Basketball @ Haynesville.
c. Friday, 2/12/10 – Baseball scrimmage @ Homer 4:30
d. Saturday, 2/13/10 - SYBL
2. We did it!!! The move was successful. Thanks to the SHS staff, students, parent volunteers, and BDCC inmates for making the move possible.
3. Please continue to bear with us in the office this week. We are living out of boxes.
4. Our computer system is back up, but the intercom and bells work for new building only.
5. Student drop-off and pick-up will change sometimes this week. We will let you know more when we make those decisions.

Lady Hornets Win Two-in-A-Row
Sarepta Girls win a District game against the Logansport Lady Tigers. The Lady Hornets won their second straight game 67-34 in a well played game at Sarepta. Jayde Hughes scored 29, Branna Briggs 18, Macy Turgeon 6, Bria Wiese 6, Leigha Smith 4, Chelsie Thomas 2, and Claire Tyler 2.
The Hornets hung tough against Logansport in the boy's game but fell short 65-58. Alden Hinkel led all scorers with 35, Joseph Clark 21, and Jacob McCarthy 2.
Next game is Thursday in Texarkana against Trinity. Senior night is Friday night at Home against Plain Dealing.

2. The Library will be closed all this week and there will be no guidance classes.
3. School will dismiss at 1:15 on Thursday for staff development.
4. Thursday and Friday our computer network and intercom system will be down. There will be no e-mail, internet, bells, intercom, etc here at school.
5. Since we will not have good communications on Thursday and Friday, please try and make sure all students know how they are getting home from school. Please limit any ride changes.
6. Progress reports will go out Wednesday.
7. Football Banquet tickets are on sale in the office. Banquet is Monday, Feb 8 2010.
8. Although we are moving into our new building this week, we will wait and have a grand opening/dedication when the entire project is finished later this spring.
