Finally - We pour some concrete

After days of dirt work the site is now ready for concrete. Watch as the slab is poured.

  • Before cement can be poured forms must go up, plumbing installed, and footings poured.
  • On 2/25/09 the first portion of cement was actually poured - the bottom of a retaining wall
  • Over 120 yards of cement was poured on 3/6/09 as beams and footings. 
  • On Friday, 3/20/09 another 100+ yards of cement was poured in the ground as beams and footings.  Part of the slab should now be coming soon!
  • The first portions of the slab were poured on 4/23/09.  We need some dry weather!!!
  • More slab poured on 5/9 - almost half of it complete.
  • Another large portion of slab was poured on 5/21. 
  • 6/2/09 110 more yards of concrete today.  Just two sections left!!!
  • 6/17/09 The last parts of the slab were poured.  Things should certainly move now.
